Located in the heart of Georgia, our farm was established in 1991 and was literally built from the ground up!

We started out with 10 beautiful acres covered with wild Dogwood trees, Oaks and Southern Pines. Along a creek bordering our property, we discovered the largest pine tree we had ever seen! It seemed only fitting that our fledgling farm bear the name Big Pine! We have continued to build and improve our farm over the years which has very much been a family endeavor. We are committed to breeding and promoting quality Gypsy Vanner Horses. We support and register all of our horses with the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society exclusively. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site and we welcome you to Big Pine Farm!

Visitors welcomed by appointment.

Sincerely,

Marc and Kim Osborne

My daughter Michaela wrote me this poem in the 5th grade (shown as written)

I am…

By: Michaela dedicated to my mother!

I am a farm girl who loves horses.
I wonder what my horse thinks.
I here the nicker of a new foal.
I see it soaring through the land
I want to live peacefully in my barn.
I am a farm girl who loves horses.

I pretend I’m helping my horse deliver it’s new foal.
I feel the horse’s hooves running beneath my skin.
I touch the heart of my horse to heel her.
I worry she will soon perish before my eyes.
I cry when my horse is in pain.
I am a farm girl who loves horses.

I understand my horse will not live forever.
I say STOP to horse slaughters.
I dream of riding a silver stallion in heaven with God.
I try to help all horses soles.
I hope one day no horse will suffer to their death.
I am a farm girl who loves horses.

         The end

Kim on Yankee, her very first horse!
